How This Route Works
Your VET school, apprenticeship centre, employer-linked training body or consortium applies for Erasmus+ funding and creates the mobility project. It selects participants, confirms the host activity and destination, and agrees how the learning outcomes will be recognised.
Recent graduates may participate when the sending project and timing satisfy the official rules. An independently arranged placement cannot simply be converted into Erasmus+ funding afterwards.
Eligibility criteria
- Current relationshipYou must be enrolled in eligible initial or continuing VET, or be an eligible recent graduate within 12 months of graduation.
- Sending organisationParticipation must be arranged through an eligible organisation or consortium.
- Learning agreementThe parties document activities, outcomes and recognition before departure.
- DestinationThe live project determines the available host countries and organisations.
- SelectionPlaces, language expectations and priority profiles vary by project.
- FundingThe project organisation explains the grant and any participant contribution.

This route covers several vocational formats, not only internships. Availability depends on an approved project and sending organisation.
