About Départ 18:25

Départ 18:25 is an ANCV scheme that helps eligible 18–25-year-olds living in France take a first or low-cost holiday in France or another eligible European Union destination. The programme can cover 75% of the eligible stay up to €200 per person and per calendar year, while each participant pays at least €50. Eligibility is based either on household reference tax income or on a listed social, study, employment-support or volunteering status. It is useful for a short supported break, but it is not a work, study or long-term international mobility programme.

Eligibility criteria

  • AudiencePeople aged 18–25 who live in France and meet either the income test or one of the qualifying status conditions.
  • Age limit18–25 on the first day of the stay.
  • ResidenceFrance, including French overseas territories.
  • Income or statusEligible through the reference-tax-income threshold or a listed status such as apprenticeship, student grant, PACEA, second-chance school, subsidised contract or Youth Engagement Contract, social care, recent civic service or unpaid carer.
  • NationalityNo nationality condition is stated separately; residence in France is required.

Important to know

Being registered as a jobseeker is not sufficient on its own. A jobseeker can qualify through the income threshold or an eligible pathway such as PACEA or the Youth Engagement Contract. The financial help applies only to eligible participants and selected stays.
