This is a commercial supported pathway with its own application and host-family approval. The current Immersion Chengdu service fee is €359. Its partner package includes host-family matching, visa application support, round-trip flight support, onboarding, Mandarin classes and monthly cultural activities. Accommodation, meals and pocket money are provided through the placement arrangement. The strongest benefit is sustained contact with everyday language and local routines rather than short classroom exposure alone. Results depend on the setting, duration and level of participation, so accommodation, supervision, cost and expected language level should be reviewed carefully.
