About Taiwan MOE Scholarships – Study and Mandarin Language

For the Taiwan Scholarship, the standard monthly stipend is NT,000 for undergraduate study and NT,000 for masters or doctoral study, with tuition support capped at NT,000 per semester. Maximum award periods are four years for a bachelors degree, two for a masters degree and four for a doctorate. Mandarin awards follow separate duration and allowance rules. This route combines academic mobility with a formal selection process and, where applicable, financial support. It can provide substantial academic and intercultural value, but admission, scholarship selection, language evidence and visa requirements are separate steps that should be planned together.
